Hornets are Global!
Have you heard about the International Baccalaureate Program here at Hillside High School? Our coordinators here at Hillside are Ms. Keshetta Henderson and Ms. Angelia McKoy. The IB program also helps Hillside students to develop our social skills and it helps us to thrive with these learned skills in our globalizing world. The Diploma programme gives us the ability to develop the broadness and depth or our knowledge. The IB is a rigorous program, and it can be more challenging than Advanced Placement classes.
The program was founded in 1968, in Geneva, Switzerland. This astonishing program is present in over 150 countries. It is offered to students from the ages of 3 to 19 years old. IB aims to develop in the students the skills of asking questions, being well-informed, and caring about making the world a better place.
Learning how to ask questions is a critical skill to learn in this program. This is done by learning how to be respectful and having cross-cultural relationships with other people.
