Hillside Beats Halifax!

On September 18, 2016 Hillside’s football team played against Halifax County, and blew them out! The Mighty Hornets dominated with the final score being 43-6.

The team played a great game and it was all because they worked together. All the team’s hard work in practice paid off during the game.

Number 20, Deion Via, declared, “Hillside’s defense was up to par and down the field.” Even when they realized the win was guaranteed, the team continued to work efficiently throughout the rest of the game. Via explained

his contribution to the team as he said, “I got in the game he blocked the corner-back”

So far, the Hornets have had an amazing season. They plan to bring the same energy to their game against East Chapel Hill High School in Game Five.
