Victory Friday!
Together, teachers celebrated the completion of the first week of school! They shared snacks, small victories, and social time in the teacher's lounge immediately following school on Friday afternoon.
Mr. Ross, returning science teacher, shared that his victory was that he made it to school on time all week long! Mr. Finnigan and Ms. Council, two first year teachers, were proud to have made it through their first week of teaching!
Returning teacher Ms. McKoy shared that as students returned, she felt that they were excited to see her and it made her feel that she had made a difference last year!
Several teachers shared that the current sophomore class returned more mature and ready to learn!
Other teacher's shared that they knew students' names, they had students return ready to learn, and that they had felt that the sense of community within their classrooms was at an all time high!
With all of these victories, this year is sure to be a great year for all SWARMING teachers!
